The Fox Chapel boys lacrosse team finished the 2014 season with a 13-4 record and advanced to the WPIAL playoffs for the first time in program history.
Second-year coach Chris McCrady, despite losing his goalie, two defensemen, two midfielders and high-scoring Alden Stone to graduation likes what he has seen in his team’s 2-0 start.
“We have about 70 percent of our scoring back, and we’ve also been doing well defensively,” he said. “We have experience on both sides of the ball, and we have a lot of talented juniors and seniors who are working hard to get us back into the playoffs.”
