If Phil O’Keeffe was looking for a sign of maturity from his Fox Chapel boys volleyball team, he found one after a Section 2-AAA victory over North Allegheny last week.
When Fox Chapel defeated the eight-time defending WPIAL champion Tigers in a tournament last season, they celebrated like “they won the World Cup,” O’Keeffe said. This time around, the Foxes acted as if it was business as usual, even though they hadn’t defeated North Allegheny in well over a decade.
