Winning the first two games of the regular season isn’t a guarantee of success for Fox Chapel.
In fact, the last time it happened was 2014 when the Foxes won their first three but finished 8-10 and missed the WPIAL Class AAAA playoffs.
This year, Fox Chapel has once again started the year 2-0, but is hoping for a better result, especially after last season when the team finished 13-7 in the regular season, qualified for the WPIAL Class AAAA playoffs for the first time in two years and won their first postseason game in more than a decade.
This is a seasoned team, with several key players including senior infielder Josh Anderson and senior pitcher Patrick Monteverde.
