Senior guard Matt D’Amico needed just a few minutes to reach the moment Fox Chapel fans wanted to witness Friday night at Woodland Hills.
With a baseline drive early in the first quarter of the Foxes’ 78-50 win, D’Amico passed 1989 Fox Chapel grad Dave Ostrosky to become the team’s all-time scoring leader. D’Amico, who entered the game needing just four points to break Ostrosky’s record (1,312), finished with 15 points. He now has 1,324 points.
