Fox Chapel looked like it might be the one team with enough depth to make a move at North Allegheny when the WPIAL Class 3A team playoffs open in a couple of weeks.
That was before the Foxes were rolled up, 5-0, by the Tigers on Tuesday afternoon.
Still, Fox Chapel may end up facing off with North Allegheny again in the playoffs, but before that happens, the team has some business to take care of in Section 3. The Foxes can wrap up the outright section title on Wednesday with a win at home against rival Shady Side Academy in the regular season finale for both schools.
