Background: Cook finished 16th at the PIAA Foundation, which was the best race of his career. He had a strong performance from start to finish in that race. He’s stepped up to be the team leader all year. Cook is a year-round distance runner and participates in track and field, as well.
Coach Tom Moul said: “On the field, Adam has good form and is naturally talented and works hard, as well. He’s worked harder this year than he ever has. I’m really impressed with his performance and how he’s been a solid leader this year. Adam is very multi-talented. He has a job working in the IT department at the school. He does computer repair for the school. He helps his dad at home with construction projects.”
