For the second time this year, Fox Chapel Area High School diver Miranda Simon has set a new school record. On January 8 she beat her own record score with 274.70 points. Prior to the January 8 meet against Woodland Hills, the senior broke the school’s 21-year-old diving record on the 1-inch springboard after only five meets into this year’s season. Her score of 261.90 easily surpassed the former record by more than 25 points.
