There is little doubt the Foxes will find a way to get out of Section 3 and make it to the WPIAL Class AAA team finals.
There really aren’t that many powerhouses in the section outside of last year’s district and state runner-up Shady Side Academy. But if Fox Chapel is to make a run, it will likely start with senior Laurel Shymansky, a two-time WPIAL Class AAA doubles champion who qualified for the WPIAL singles championships that opens Monday at Shady Side Academy.
