The Fox Chapel Area High School girls’ lacrosse team accomplished something no other team before them had been able to do: They advanced to the school’s first appearance at a championship game after beating a strong Seneca Valley team on Monday evening, 14-12.
During that game, senior Meg McCrady scored five goals, junior Kate Goodwin had three, and freshman Mary Ellis had five assists.
The WPIAL championship will be held Thursday at 8 p.m., at Robert Morris University.
Congratulations on a job well done, and good luck ladies!
