As the regular fall sports season winds down, there is plenty of fabulous news about many Foxes’ teams and the individuals who play on them. Here is a snapshot of what has happened so far, and what’s ahead.

• The next rounds of the WPIAL Class AAA team tennis playoffs will be held October 14 at Fox Chapel Area High School and October 15-16 at neutral sites to be determined.
• The PIAA Class AAA Western Region tournament for boys’ and girls’ individual golf will be held October 15 at Tom’s Run Golf Course at Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort in Blairsville.
• The PIAA Class AAA team and individual golf championships will be held October 21-23 at Heritage Hills Resort in York.
• The WPIAL Class AAA individual and team cross country championships will be held October 24 at California University of Pennsylvania.
• The WPIAL Class AAAA playoffs for girls’ and boys’ soccer will be held October 31 and November 1-2 at Highmark Stadium.
• The PIAA Class AAA individual and team tennis championships will be held November 1-2 at Hershey Racquet Club in Hershey.
