- Ed Boyle Athletic Scholarship – named for a beloved physical education teacher and coach who initiated the Fox Chapel Area School District soccer program. A collegiate All-American, Ed Boyle served as head coach of the varsity team for nine years, leading the team to WPIAL championships in 1964 and 1967. He returned to the program as an assistant coach in the late 1970s and continued in that capacity until his retirement in 1992. After his death in 2008, the Boyle Family, with contributions from faculty, fellow coaches, and former players, established a $1,000 scholarship in his name to be given to a graduating male soccer player. Established through the Pittsburgh Foundation, the scholarship is awarded according to their scholarship guidelines to a student who exemplifies the spirit and the talent of Coach Boyle. The scholarship is presented at the annual induction banquet of the Fox Chapel Area Schools Sports Hall of Fame each June. The recipient is required to attend the banquet.
- Wendy’s High School Heisman – Wendy’s High School Heisman supports high school seniors who share Wendy’s values of doing the right thing, giving back, and treating people with respect. Student-athletes have an opportunity to win Wendy’s gift cards and a scholarship between $1,000 and $10,000.
