Wrestler with High Expectations

| Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, TRIB-LIVE

Michael Mahon, a senior at Fox Chapel, finished fourth at the WPIAL wrestling championships last year at 182 pounds. He also qualified for the PIAA tournament and won his first round match before being eliminated.

“I hope to improve on that this year,” he said.

He’s been wrestling since he was 5 and definitely wants to continue wrestling in college. He is still visiting various colleges and is undecided on where he will go.

For his efforts, he is The Herald Spotlight Athlete.
