It was a tale of two halves.
No. 2 Penn-Trafford (10-0) kept its perfect season intact, holding off an early scare from No. 15 Fox Chapel to win 40-13 in Friday’s WPIAL Class AAAA first-round playoff game in Harrison City.
Appearing in its first playoff game since 2008, Fox Chapel entered Warrior Stadium with hopes of avenging a loss in the 1997 WPIAL semifinals, which began the Foxes’ 17-year playoff drought.
