The Fox Chapel boys basketball team opened its season playing in the North Hills tournament on November 3 and 4. In Friday’s game, the Foxes, ranked No. 10 in Class AAAA by the Tribune-Review, went up against Hampton, the 10th rated team in Class AAA. The Talbots prevailed 71-67, as they battled back from a 33-26 halftime deficit. Carson Cohen and Michael Snowball led the Foxes with 14 points each while Jake Livingston added 13.
On Saturday, the Foxes dropped to 0-2 as they fell to North Hills, 77-68. Mike Zappala scored 22 points for the Foxes, and Livingston added 17.
