Fox Chapel basketball standout Matt D’Amico inches closer to his school’s scoring record with every basket he makes. But the senior guard said he isn’t obsessing over his career point total.
With a shoulder shrug and a half-grin, D’Amico said his focus is on the Section 2-AAAA playoff chase and, he hopes, a postseason that lasts a few rounds.
“I guess it’s something you think about, but I am not going into every game thinking I have to get this many or that many,” said D’Amico, who leads the Alle-Kiski Valley in scoring at 23.5 points per game.
