Coach Katie Lundberg said: “Mary has been a great asset for our team. She’s someone who has great field vision and can distribute the ball well. She has really helped the rest of our team succeed and helped give us the opportunities we’ve needed to be successful this season. She’s had a huge impact [on our team]. I’d heard a lot about her coming in, but I’d never seen her play. I was excited the first time I saw her play. She does not play like a freshman. She’s a very seasoned player who has played for many years. I think there is a little pressure on her because of how talented she is. But she’s risen to the occasion and done many good things for us.”
