Senior guard Billy Urso was the game’s only double-digit scorer, with 16 points, on Saturday as Fox Chapel reeled off its fifth straight win, 49-28, over Shaler in O’Hara.
Fox Chapel has won seven of its past eight.
The Foxes (12-7) finally opened up a slow-developing game — they led 23-11 at the half — with a strong third quarter. They outscored Shaler (6-14), 13-4, in the third to take control of the non-section game.
