Fox Chapel had dropped nine baseball games in a row to North Allegheny heading into Monday.
Connor Duquette made sure that number didn’t jump to 10. Duquette hit the decisive home run to give host Fox Chapel a 4-3 win against Class AAAA No. 4 North Allegheny in Section 1.
Chad Bartlett pitched a complete game to earn the win for Fox Chapel (3-2, 1-0), which had not defeated North Allegheny (4-2, 0-1) since 2006.
