The Bearcat men’s basketball team defeated longtime rival Geneva College by a score of 65-60 in conference action in Latrobe.
Matt D’Amico, a Fox Chapel graduate, led all scorers on the night with 18 points.
2015-16: Appeared in all 29 games in his first year at St. Vincent’s College. Scored a season-high 13 points in a loss to Calvin (Mich.) at the d3hoops.com Classic in Las Vegas on Dec. 30. Averaged 2.9 points and 1.2 rebounds per contest. Chipped in 14 assists and 13 steals. Shot 82.1 percent at the free throw line in limited work, making 23 of 28.
2014-15: Played for NCAA-II Clarion University, where he appeared in 23 games as a freshman, starting 6. Posted 24 steals and scored 3.8 points per game while averaging 1.3 rebounds.
HIGH SCHOOL: Two sport athlete at Fox Chapel High School, participating for four years in basketball and volleyball. Two-time All-Section performer, Two-time All-District, Terrific 10, Fab Five. All-Time Leading Scorer at Fox Chapel. Served as Team Captain his senior year.
