There were entire seasons in the not too distant past in which Woodland Hills didn’t win five games.
This season, however, the Wolverines are off to one of the best starts in school history.
Woodland Hills (5-0, 2-0) defeated visiting Fox Chapel (4-1, 1-1) Tuesday night and also solidified itself as a team to watch in Class 6A Section 3 with a 75-60 victory against the Foxes.
Carson Cohen scored 26 points and Dom McGriff chipped in 24 for Fox Chapel, but it wasn’t enough as Tremon Josey netted 20 of his 22 in the second half for the Wolverines to close out the win.
