The 2015 high school soccer season was a long one for Fox Chapel’s Vince Lundy.
He saw any hope of playing disappear around Memorial Day last year.
“I completely tore the ACL of my right knee,” he said. “That wiped out my junior year of playing soccer.”
Though it pained him to not be part of a successful season for the Foxes, he was on the sidelines through the PIAA playoffs.
“It was rough watching, so I became a team manager,” he said. “I couldn’t stay away from the team. It made me feel like part of the team, and I was so happy at what they accomplished.”
