Success isn’t hard for Jasper Uricchio to envision with the top-level offensive talent Fox Chapel’s hockey team can put on the ice.
When everyone is together, the Foxes see themselves as a potential juggernaut.
“I feel like we’re an unstoppable force,” Uricchio said. “It’s a good feeling.”
Wreaking havoc is dependent on schedules lining up.
Fox Chapel only has one player — defenseman Jacob Miske — who has appeared in all 18 games. Despite this, Fox Chapel is 8-10 and in line to earn the fifth and final playoff spot in the PIHL’s Class AA Eastern Conference.
The Foxes average 4.4 goals and have three players who rank in the top 12 in the league in scoring. Uricchio, along with fellow forward Ben Friedland, and defenseman Jonathan Rice, put up large points totals and were invited to the Class AA All-Star game.
