Fox Chapel High School will be the place to be this weekend for fans of high school wrestling.
The Allegheny County wrestling tournament will begin Friday morning and continue through early Saturday evening. There will be 403 wrestlers from 35 schools competing.
“It will be an exciting weekend for high school wrestling fans from all over,” Fox Chapel wrestling coach Ron Frank said. “All told, this is the biggest high school wrestling event in the state, and the community should be proud of what will be going on at the high school this weekend.”
Frank said the event will feature a variety of schools, from some of the largest in the county to some of the smallest.
