Bob McCormick, who graduated from Fox Chapel Area High School in 1970, was a man for all seasons during his high school days.
He played football, basketball and baseball for the Foxes and he excelled in all three sports, earning a total of seven letters.
He was captain of the baseball team in his junior and senior years and captained the football team in his senior year.
He was all-section in football and basketball in his senior year and all-WPIAL in baseball. If there had been an ironman award in football, he would have laid claim to that as he played every minute of every game in his senior year.
