Fox Chapel 6-foot-3 center Erin Mathias capped a remarkable senior season with yet another honor Friday as she was named the Pennsylvania Sports Writers’ Class AAAA girls basketball player of the year.
Mathias earlier was picked as the Gatorade player of the year for Pennsylvania.
