Per an announcement Thursday, December 10, by Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf, “All sports at K-12 public schools, nonpublic schools, private schools and club, travel, recreational, intramural, and intramural sports are paused” until 8 a.m. Monday, January 4. These restrictions will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, December 12.
At this time, the Fox Chapel Area School District will pause all interscholastic and intramural athletic activities beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020. All coaches will be in touch with their teams to communicate more specific information.
On behalf of our student-athletes, coaches, and athletic staff, we look forward to returning to athletic practices and competition when it is deemed safe to do so.
