Samantha Olbrich, a senior at Fox Chapel High School, is a captain on the softball team and plays catcher. Last week, she had seven hits in 10 at-bats, including a pair of doubles, as the Foxes won three games.
She is batting over .500 on the season. She’s been playing softball for about 12 years. Next year, she will be attending Wheeling Jesuit University where she will major in biology and continue her softball career. For her efforts, she is The Herald Spotlight Athlete.
Q: What do you wish you had more time to do?
A: Travel.
