Anthony Veltri, a senior, and his teammates are back on the ice after the Fox Chapel hockey team did not field a varsity squad last season.
So far, Veltri has found the back of the net in each of the Foxes’ games.
Last week, he had two goals and an assist as the Foxes came up short in a couple of hard-fought games.For his effort, Veltri has been named The Herald Athlete of the Week.
Veltri also plays on the Fox Chapel High School baseball team.
