He’s played second fiddle, Robin to teammate Matt D’Amico’s Batman, for the better part of three seasons at Fox Chapel. Yet senior guard Brian Papich is fine with his role as the quiet force who helps makes the Foxes go.
Of course dunks aren’t quiet, and Papich always seems to dash into the open court for a slam to ignite the crowd. And he gets up high above the rim, which is no surprise. Papich is a standout high-jumper during the spring season.
In basketball games, his dunks can wake up the gym, like a violent sneeze in a library.
