Fox Chapel has not been one of those teams that has rocketed to the top of the standings this season.
That being said, the Foxes have been slowly creeping up the ladder and is firmly in the discussion of teams ready to make a run to the PIHL Class AA playoffs.
Fox Chapel (5-6-0) has won three of its last four games, including victories against postseason contenders Quaker Valley and Baldwin, and are in the middle of the pack in the Eastern Conference. If the PIHL goes with its original plan and the top five teams in each conference are postseason bound, then the Foxes are in a fight with Penn-Trafford (5-7-0) for the final slot.
