Claim to fame: Badway scored 23 points in a win over Franklin Regional on Friday after scoring 20 in a victory over Armstrong two days earlier. The junior guard is averaging 16.1 points for the Foxes (8-4, 7-1 Section 2-AAAA).
What’s led to your success this season?
My coaches, they’re helping me a lot. … We’re coming together and players are getting me (the ball) when I’m open. I’m getting them the ball, we’re starting to flow together as a team.
You already have as many wins as you had all of last year, what’s been the difference?
We’re all healthy this year. I was out last year with my broken hand, a couple of our starters tore their ACL’s, so we’re all back for this year … and we’re finally starting to work together.
