Once on the Family ID webpage, scroll to the bottom of the page and “click” on 2019 Spring Sports Registration in order to begin the registration process.

The Fox Chapel Area Athletic Training Department in conjunction with UPMC Dr. Matthew Schaffer will be providing pre-participation physical exams, at no cost, for high school and middle school athletes’ participation in the SPRING sports season on February 11. Click here for more information.

The Fox Chapel Area School District has a number of Scholarships available. The Rich Kriston Athletic Scholarship was established to honor a Fox Chapel Area High School senior who has excelled in athletic activity while maintaining high sportsmanship standards. The scholarship is a one-time award of $2,000 for a Fox Chapel Area High School Senior who has shown a commitment to continuing his/her education beyond high school. Fox Chapel’s strength and conditioning staff is offering FREE developmental strength and conditioning program for all 7th and 8th graders. Instruction will concentrate on functional movement patterns, injury prevention, speed, and agility training. Athletes will use body weight or developmentally appropriate resistance during training sessions.

It was unfamiliar territory for the Peters Township girls basketball team on Monday night. Leah Vith had an outstanding week for Slippery Rock University with the team in Clermont, Florida for the Spring Games. Krystyna Burdelski went 3-1 with a 2.52 ERA last week for Westminster College. She totaled 16 strikeouts while walking just two over her 25.0 innings.
