The Fox Chapel boys volleyball teams maintained it spot atop the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association’s Class AAA state rankings this week after improving to 9-0 in Section 2 with wins over Shaler (2-6), Pine-Richland (3-6) and eight-time defending WPIAL champion North Allegheny (5-4) and capturing the title Saturday at the 16-team Plum Invitational.
“The team played focused and determined all week,” FC coach Phil O’Keeffe said.
