Jonny Rice, a senior right defender on the Fox Chapel hockey team, scored three goals in a 5-1 win over Penn-Trafford last week.
That gave him 18 goals on the season to go along with 21 assists. He has been playing hockey since he was 6 years old and will try out for the Foxes lacrosse team this spring. He is undecided about college but is looking at Ohio State, Miami, Ohio and Ohio University. He plans to major in engineering.
“I’d also like to keep playing hockey, most likely at the club level. It will be a way for me to stay on the ice, but my main focus will be on academics.”
