It was a successful week for the Fox Chapel girls golf team. The Foxes won four of five matches and put themselves into playoff contention.
“It was a great week,” FC coach John Broderick said. “We definitely swung ourselves back into the playoff picture.”
The week was highlighted by sophomore Hannah Conroy carding a 38 in a tri-match against Shaler and Pine-Richland on Friday at Pittsburgh Field Club. The team used consistent scoring by seven different girls during the week to defeat SSA, 188-199, Franklin Regional, 202-216, and Shaler and Pine-Richland, 174-215.
