Background: Is the No. 2 singles player for the Foxes and helped the team to the Section 3 title as well as the No. 2 seed in the WPIAL Class 3A team playoffs. Has been a reliable player, but heads into the tournament coming off a loss to Sewickley Academy senior Sam Sauter in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday. Will have to come up big if Fox Chapel is to repeat as WPIAL champion, Is the No. 17 ranked freshman in the state.
Fox Chapel coach Dave Prevost said: “He’s quick with his feet and he uses a lot of short, choppy strokes. He’s about 6-foot-1 and he needs some seasoning, I think, but he’s very effective and only lost two matches the entire season.”
