Jake Livingston was a big force on the court for Fox Chapel. Now he will be one for the Big Red. The 6-foot-5 forward-center announced his commitment to Denison University in Ohio on March 23.

The Big Red compete in the Division III North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC). Denison finished this year 22-5 with a trip to the conference semifinals.

Livingston also had interests from University of Rochester, Dickinson College, and Gettysburg College.

In his senior season, Livingston was named first-team all-section in Class 6A Section 3 after averaging 15.8 points per game and 10.2 points per game. Livingston is an efficient shooter, converting on 38 percent from beyond the arc and 50 percent from the field.

He was also named MVP of the Peter Sauer Memorial Holiday Classic, leading Fox Chapel to wins against Seneca Valley and Shady Side Academy.

Livingston will participate in the Roundball and Cager Classic all-star games.
